From the first time I saw the adorable pug logo on Plot Dog Press, I aspired to enter and place in one of the weekly contests.

With my stomach clenched so tight that even the best diet pill wasn’t  needed, I waited for the results. I’m thrilled and honored that my poem “A Treatise on Friendship” was chosen as the February 9th winner in the poetry division of the Woof Dog Press Writing Contest.

I want to thank everyone who voted for it.

I also want to congratulate the other winners of the contest, Dragon Blogger who is a previous winner as is Web-Betty, Romeo and Jennifer M Scott. I would also like to encourage other writers to submit their works for this contest. The rules are simple and unlike other online contests, you aren’t bugged forever to purchase their books ;)
