I saw these cute doodles all over the internet in the Spring and wanted to particpate so much then, but by the time I figured out the who what when where and how, the week was over. They mentioned a summer week, so I’ve been waiting for it to arrive so I could play.
Monday’s doodle is “doodle bug” — It’s no secret that I like colorful things, so my first bug is a butterfly
And just so you know not all the bugs around here are pretty ones, here’s one of the huge black beetles I’ve been finding on the porch every morning. While they are evil looking, I think they’re actually pretty benign.
Tomorrow, it’s Outer Space. Wonder what I can come up with for that one???

Laura — Thank you! No, I didn’t make them with dots — that sorta happened by itself when I exported them as png’s from Paint Shop Pro.. I just used the paintbrush tool and the pen set to freeform to draw and color them in.
