<p>Although I admire <a class="zem_slink" title="Tiger Woods" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_Woods">Tiger Woods</a> for his consistency and work ethics, I have to admit that it&#8217;s refreshing to see someone else taking the trophies these days. Not that I wish Mr. Woods ill, of course, but I&#8217;m also sure that his competitors were secretly relieved that he has to take the rest of this year off.</p>
<p>Whether Tiger would have been a factor or not, the <a class="zem_slink" title="Oakland Hills Country Club" rel="geolocation" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=42.5447222222,-83.2708333333&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=42.5447222222,-83.2708333333&amp;t=h">Oakland Hills</a> course was enough of one all by itself and at the halfway point saw one lonely player under par. Imagine a tournament as significant as this one ending in an over par score! But in true championship fashion, <a class="zem_slink" title="Pádraig Harrington" rel="homepage" href="http://www.padraigharrington.com/">Padraig Harrington</a> drove the final putt in to win the <a class="zem_slink" title="PGA Championship" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGA_Championship">PGA Championship</a> on &#8220;The Monster&#8221; course at Oakland Hills, MI  with a 4 under par 66. He becomes only the fourth player to win back-to-back <a class="zem_slink" title="The Open Championship" rel="homepage" href="http://www.opengolf.com/">British Open</a> and PGA in the same year.</p>
<p>Harrington has struggled over the last two years, but this year seems to be all his as he&#8217;s won the last 3 <a class="zem_slink" title="Men's major golf championships" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men%27s_major_golf_championships">major tournaments</a> and secured himself a spot in the Hall of Fame by doing so. He&#8217;s got his sights set on the <a class="zem_slink" title="Ryder Cup" rel="homepage" href="http://www.rydercup.com">Ryder Cup</a> now and will pair up with <a class="zem_slink" title="Sergio García" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergio_Garc%C3%ADa">Sergio Garcia</a> who is struggling this year.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.theworldofgolf.com">Titleist golf</a> sponsors some of the most thrilling <a class="zem_slink" title="Golf" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golf">golfers</a> of the year with such players as Tiger Woods and one can&#8217;t help but wonder with their strongest player out who they will tap to carry on the <a class="zem_slink" title="Titleist" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titleist">Titleist</a> brand. Perhaps they&#8217;ll try to pick up Harrington now that he&#8217;s won 3 majors.</p>
<p>Some are saying Harrington is filling Tiger&#8217;s shoes. Do you think so? Do you think Sergio Garcia can overcome his failure to clinch to ever win a major, or is he the next Greg Norman? Do you think Tiger&#8217;s knee injury is going to have a permanent effect on his game?</p>
