Uh..hello everyone…this is Ken — Margaret’s husband writing this post. I don’t usually write blog posts — that’s her thing entirely, but she wrangled this great opportunity from theworldofgolf.com for me to get a Taylor Made Burner driver, try it out and then I had to write this review of it. She also taped me using it on the driving range the other day and that’s the commercial you see below.

I’m what’s politely referred to as a Sunday golfer and actually, it’s been two years since I can remember having a club in my hands, so you could say I’m a little rusty. But it’s like they say about riding a bike — once you’ve mastered it, you never forget.

Anyway, this golf club made me look and feel like a pro! No matter what mistake I made with my foot placement or raise my head too soon, I zinged those balls off the tee and way on out there! I think the shortest drive I made with the Burner was 217 yards and the longest was over 240 yards. That’s a 50 yard improvement over what I hit with my old driver.

If you go to theworldofgolf.com, you can read all the scientific stuff about what makes the Taylor Made Burner driver so good — stuff about the pitch and the bullet shaped head and “inverted cone technology”. Oh! and it’s lightweight, too! The shaft is long and designed to give you maximum distance no matter what your swing is.

Anyway, I just want to say that I will definitely be playing more golf now that I have this awesome club in my possession. Now, Taylor Made — if you could just make a putter that worked as well.

I gotta admit the video was pretty amusing. I like the “miss” at the beginning of it. Definitely established your skill level there Ken.
