Since joining Entre Card, I’ve been reading a lot of blogs. Blogs I’ve never read or even heard of before. What an experience!
Some of you are incredibly talented and my hat is off to you for all the great content you have.
Some of you are obviously copying from each other 
— It’s not that you’re talking about the same things — that’s perfectly acceptable and to be expected, but it’s that you are saying EXACTLY the same thing, using EXACTLY the same words — BAD!
Those of you that catch my eye, that have something original, fresh, unique, or interesting, I’m going back again and again to read your stuff. Keep up the good work!
Unless you have things like music set to auto play or videos set to auto play. Those things are huge turn offs to me. And I know I’m not alone in that opinion — most of the people I talk to (and I talk to a range from very young to very old) are turned off by this same thing. If you have a gazillion widgets on your site that make it slooooooow to load the page, I’m not sticking around for that 
either. I have DSL, so things load pretty fast unless there’s something bogging it down. So, I advise you who have a bunch of widgets to look at your page stats and see how many visitors stick around longer than 30 seconds — if you have a ton of those, you need to re-think your design.
Look at your Entrecard stats. They tell you a lot. Look at your Alexa stats, as well as any other stats you might have access to. Those will give you a lot of clues about your readers, their interests and habits.
I’m not saying you should change your writing style or subject matter (if you did, you run the risk of losing them!), but just know who your readers are and be aware of what’s interesting to them.
I’m going to admit that although I’ve been blogging for years, I’ve never been blogging to quite this extent before, so you may take my opinion expressed here as just that – opinion. I’m certainly not putting myself forward as any kind of expert.

AWESOME post!!! I agree with what you said 100%!! I also must add that I absolutely LOVE how your blog has changed over the past few months! It’s so much easier to read with the subtle colors now, you have a vast array of topics and overall I just enjoy coming here! Great job and keep up the good work!

I agree with the autoplay and the bogging down of loading time. I should really do the random blogging with Entrecard, but I have to return a few comments and leave some for a comment exchange program I’m in.
One of the reasons I like your blog is the lack of videos, and stuff that takes forever to load! Some blog owners add too much of this stuff and it becomes overwhelming.
