It’s Tax Time — What Tax Program Is Your Favorite?
Posted By ê¿ê on February 2nd, 2008
My husband informed me that we will be working on our taxes this weekend.
I asked him which tax program he wanted to use since we’ve used several over the past few years and I can’t remember which seemed to do the best job.
I know some will import data from your checking accounts, investment accounts and credit card accounts, which is pretty handy especially if you’ve taken advantage of those bodies’ notation fields. That helps you quickly categorize your purchases into deduction statuses. Or if you use Money, Quick Books, Quicken or such, those also make tax time less burdensome.
But, other than Tax Cut, Tax Act and Turbo Tax, which software package do you recommend and why?
Thanks!

Yeah, I can’t suggest any good ones for you since I’ve never done my own taxes. I just tried to by using Turbo Tax, but then it got complicated after I entered in my W-2’s, so now I’m just going to give it to my dad until I take a tax course or something.
Which would you prefer to use?

Hmmmm. Let’s see. No help. My favorite program really isn’t much of one. About 6′3″ and costs me $275.00 per year! LOL

Taxes? You are still volunteering to pay taxes? You do know that you don’t have to ,don’t you? Anyway the money you pay in taxes goes to a privately owned banks (Federal Reserve Banks, FRB or FED)that does NOT belong to our government. The government borrows money from the FRB or FED at a high interest, rate. This is why our country is in debt. It’s your money, you worked for it, so why give it away? As for me I stopped paying taxes years ago and I never will again. Please watch this video of a former employee of the IRS…this will let you know how you are being robbed.
