I love coffee! The rich smell of brewing coffee really sets off a relaxed feeling in me. Don’t know if it was all those Folger’s commercials I watched as a kid showing a woman relaxing into a chair with her cup of coffee or what, but that smell just sends me off only too well.
I also love the taste of coffee. I went from drinking it with cream and sugar to drinking it black and haven’t looked back since. The flavor of the coffee bursting on my tongue is so sensual. And I’ve become quite picky about the beans I buy and how it’s ground.
Now with a Starbucks on every corner, espresso has become my latest passion. I suppose my next investment in coffee will be one of my own espresso machines. I’ve carefully watched my barista make this delectable brew and think I can do it myself, but only time will tell.
Oh dear! Now I have to run. The need for a cup is just too strong!
