Favorite Blogs of the Week

Posted By ê¿ê on April 6th, 2008

I’m going to begin an introduction of you to some of the blogs I stumble across during the week that have stuff I think you might be interested in reading. I’m going to tell you up front that there more than likely will NOT be any "how to make money" blogs in these lists, nor will there likely be any Entrecard only blogs, and it’s pretty doubtful that I’ll subject you to any political rantings beyond my own, so with that disclaimer aside I give you my favorites of the week.

1. Has to be without a doubt Patsy’s Blog — Patsy can spin a tale like only my long-dead Uncle Prent could spin. They’re my favorite kind of tales, too. Full of humor (often self-directed), humility and there’s almost always a moral to her story.

2. For my eating pleasure and for my diabetic husband’s need to have tasty but healthy food, I’ve discovered and am sharing with you Diet Recipes which has so many tasty recipes, I can’t begin to figure out one that’s a favorite.

3. And then just for fun, there is Paperkraft which is a blog all about things (toys) made of paper. You will be amazed at what you see — I know because I was. Way more than origami you just have to see it to believe it.

4. Most people I know need a fair amount of guidance when it comes to computers. We weren’t all born with a keyboard in front of us and a mouse in our hands. Some of us were around when they were all DOS powered (oh GOD! I just aged myself!). Ask the Admin helps take some of the pain out of being a clueless computer know-nothing. You’ll find a plethora of tips, tricks and advice on that site. It’s a virtual goldmine of information about all things computer, but best of all, it’s all in everyday language! No techspeak spoken there!

While I know 4 is an odd number (well, no, it’s actually an EVEN number) for a list like this, it’s where I’m going to leave you this week. I figure I’ve given you plenty to check out.

Good blogging everyone!
