With all this worrying about THE TRIP, I’ve completely let it slip my mind that I probably should have a gift for my husband of 25 years to present to him on THAT DAY.

AX061813I know it’s our silver anniversary, but do you think a gold chain would be out of order? I can’t give him a ring because he can’t wear one at work (safety reasons), but he could wear a chain tucked into his shirt. Even watches have to be covered up — they make them wear these little wrist band thingys over their watches — can’t take the risk of scratching up someone’s $60,000 BMW, you know.

This is the last weekend I’ll have to shop for him a gift before THE TRIP, so I need to make up my mind really quick!

Come to think of it, he would probably like a golf club better than a gold chain….one more thing to add to my to-do list…GREAT just what I needed!

25 years, congratulations! Best to buy him something he’d like and use, I think – every time he takes that club out of the bag he’ll think of you! You could tie silver ribbons to it, or paint some of it silver, as a token…

Congratulations for 25 years! The golf club sounds like something he’ll appreciate more. My mom who’s been married for more than 35 years have stopped giving him something ‘special’ in the female sense of the word because the ones he really likes are the ones the he can use: big boy’s toys. Haha.

The best gifts for someone like my wife are jewelry. She loves a nice necklage or earrings.
