I don’t know why I should have to worry about Father’s Day gifts — after all, my Dad has been gone from this world for nearly 10 years now. I know I’m married and I love my husband dearly, but he’s not my father — he’s the father of our boys. They’re the ones who should be worrying about what to get the man-who-has-everything, not me.
However, I’m a generous and loving wife, who will celebrate the fact that her hubby is a WONDERFUL father and grandfather by getting him something for Father’s Day.
What that something could possibly be, I don’t know at this point.
I could get him some vibrating underwear. He doesn’t have any of those (to my knowledge). I’m not quite sure what vibrating underwear would do for him, but they might give me a thrill.
I could get him one of those nice wood steering wheels. Then at least he wouldn’t burn his delicate hands on a hot plastic one when he gets in the car after slaving away on the track all day (for those of you who don’t already know and envy my husband his job, he’s a test driver for BMW). That might be a little too close to his work, though….
What I think he would REALLY like would be something on the order of a weekend of golf at some nice resort or even better yet, tickets to the Talladega 500.
