Ok — I’ve been tagged by Reggy at Fragileheart.com with this meme. I don’t do memes and am not making an exception in this case (sorry Reggy!), but this is one meme theme that just brings to light something that eats at me….just WHAT constitutes weird?
I’ve carefully read Reggy’s, Ken’s and Oyvind’s answers to this meme and I’m sorry folks, but I just don’t find a single thing you’ve listed as something I would classify as WEIRD.
All of those things you listed about yourselves….they just show you up to be delightfully unique folks. People who have varied interests and world observations that, no, I don’t share, but that are in no way strange or weird. All those things make you the kind of people who write interesting blogs that I enjoy reading every day.
Unusual might be the most extreme word I would use to describe any of the things you have listed about yourselves. Maybe that makes me weird. I don’t know, but I consider myself to be rather normal and boring.
So, now my question to you guys is….do you TRULY think those things you listed are WEIRD.…or are you holding back on the really out there stuff? C’mon now — you’re amongst friends. We won’t laugh at your purple lace underwear (Ken) or your fetish for toe sex.
Now if you want to read something that someone does that I DO think is weird, well head over to Ettarose’s site and read what her friend has chosen to share with her….now THAT is WEIRD behavior (as well as being totally disgusting!)

LOL I’m glad you still wrote something about the meme. As for whether I think what I wrote is weird… I don’t think its weird because I am the person that does them! They’re things I think other people might find weird or that I have been called weird for doing them. And yes, ettarose’s post is definitely weird!! lol

Not true – I just missed it! I tend to assume I’ve seen all but the newest (a bounce rate nightmare… sorry again).
Now you *know* we all can’t be totally frank about our true weirdness – God knows who reads this stuff – although I do think the one pair of shoes is a bit off-kilter.
And, hey, some of the little ‘elements’ of this post are disturbingly on-the-mark – I’ll say no more… except *that’s* weird!
