Our grandchildren are all spread out from the youngest that turns 3 on the 22nd of December to the oldest who turns 16 on the 26th of December, so educational toys are a standard gift for us to give on any occasion. Usually they’re pretty well received by the kids, although their parents sometimes have a problem with ones that make a lot of noise
Since we’re the grandparents, though, we get to give them those kinds of toys and have no guilty conscience about doing so at all. I think they call that payback or something
We also get to spoil the grandkids rotten when we keep them, then give them back to their parents totally ruined. We get to feed the grandchildren all sorts of junk food that’s loaded with sugar and still get to lecture the kids when they give the grandkids those kinds of foods. We get to buy the grandchildren things that are inappropriate for their age. We get to take them places their parents won’t. That’s in the grandparent’s code. — Go on, Google it!

LMAO! We’re having a party this weekend for my mother and step father, they both turned 70 this past week. I’m going to print out the grandparents code and put it in with their cards! That was awesome! You sound like you’re a wonderful grandma!
P.S. You’ve been TAGGED

Holly — I’m glad you enjoyed my grandparent’s code — I need to work on it some more as I’m sure I’ve left some things out
I hope you have a wonderful visit with your mom and step-dad.
Have a Merry Christmas!
Hugs,
Maggie
