About a month ago, I posted on the Farm Town Forum that I wanted to do a blog post here with interviews from some of the people who achieved level 34 (the highest one). I had a set of questions I asked that I thought would be interesting for those of you who are struggling with leveling up or just playing the game effectively.
I was only able to interview 3 people and got widely varying answers to the most basic questions and similar answers on ones I truly expected variety on, so it just goes to prove that you can hire moving companies New York location, but end up in Jersey before it’s all said and done.
The questions were:
Do you have more than one farm?
What was the single most practice that enabled you to advance up the levels quickest? Or is there a combination of practices that worked for you?
How many hours a day on average do you devote to the game?
What is your favorite crop(s)?
Do you routinely hire help from the marketplace or try to use neighbors as much as possible?
How many neighbors do you have?
Are they all personal friends of yours or did you gather them from FarmTown locations such as the marketplace, Inn or forums?
What advice would you give a beginning player?
My respondents were Chris Frost, Rukia Fae *TH*, and Bob Klug
Each person took between 2 and 3 months to get to level 34 from start to finish which I found amazing. They also claimed to only play between 1-2 hours per day although one person did say she estimated it to be more like 4-6 hours.
Only one of the people interviewed had their farm planted 100% in crops. The others had crops, buildings, flowers and animals. Everyone admitted that it’s easier now to level up with the hired plowing and the two hour raspberry crop.
All of them would rather hire from their neighbors and buddy list before resorting to the market, but those who did hire from the market, chose carefully.
Most of them like pineapples as a cash crop.
Number of neighbors varied from 20-40.
Surprisingly most of the neighbors are personal friends.
Without exception all the level 34 players advised new players to visit the forums often and learn from the others.

Farm Town looks fun but I haven’t tried it yet, I’m afraid to get hooked. I have too much already but spend two-three ours a week on Guild Wars. Maybe I’ll try it when I’m fed up with GW.
It is an addictive game! But fun!
