The new template is in place and it loads faster than the old one with the same widgets.

Categories have been consolidated and condensed for easier searching of older posts. (please note that re-categorizing posts is intensely manual and I have 520 of them to deal with — only the last 90 or so have been recategorized — everything else is stuck under “women” which is a default for some reason)

New header image (and matching ECard if you’ve noticed) that I kind of like. Ok, it’s not mystical like the other one was, but you have to admit, it’s an attractive eye. Besides, I’m not much of a mystical person anyway — I just liked the colors of that design. I have another sort of mystical one in the wings for the next time I decide to change things, so you’ll have that to look forward to.

Tweaks made to sidebar to center, lighten it up and make it more friendly.

I know there’s a horizontal scrollbar when your resolution is 600×800 — the big drawback to this theme is that it’s a bit on the rigid side as far as dynamic HTML is concerned — in other words, it’s NOT dynamic at all. Making it dynamic is more work than I’m willing to put into a free Wordpress theme, so I will continue to search for the “perfect” shell if there is such a thing. Anyone want to volunteer to make the changes for me? We might could work out some kind of trade — graphics for coding, maybe??

Now I need to add stuff to my EntreCard Graphics page that showcases the EC cards I’ve made for people. It gives me a major kick to see something I’ve made in the Campaign page. I love seeing them work their way up the popularity ladder, too.
