I’ve signed up for several social media type “services” lately, but have to admit that Entrecard is the one that’s making the most difference to my site.
Of course it takes some work to get it going for you — you have to participate and read other people’s blogs and I will admit that I didn’t do a lot of that before. I’m enjoying reading new people’s blogs and continue to be amazed at the variety and talent there is out there.
Some of the entrcard “players” host contests to give away their credits. I’ve entered one at Xavier Media since, by winning the credits, I could then afford to advertise on someone else’s blog that might bring even more visitors to mine – or even have my own contest to give away credits. Right now I don’t have very many, so I will wait until I have a more significant number to offer. Let’s face it, 100 sounds infinitely better than 35

Good luck in the contest
After reading your post, I decided to sign up too. A friend had given it a rave earlier, but I was still undecided on it. Now I see all the new hits I’m getting. The thing is, I’m wondering how many people actually choose to stay and read, you know? Because they could be like me who just stops by to drop and then leaves. Lol.
