Caesars Palace is one of the most famous places to gamble at in Las Vegas, but besides the gambling, it also has some top shows including entertainers like Elton John, Celine Dion and Bette Midler, is a five star hotel and has an excellent restaurant. But, let’s face it, it’s the craps tables, poker, blackjack and slot machines that most people associate with Ceasars Palace. So, go ahead …. hit me!

I just love listening to Car Talk on NPR Radio Saturday mornings. Those guys are not only really smart about cars, but are so funny, too! I even enjoy going to their website to see all the auto accessories they sell. Some of them are totally unnecessary items, but many are quite useful! Like a Road Trip Journal — which if you travel for business is very handy to have around! Something I just have to have, though is Car Talk Tunes. Those are so funny!

New diet pill on the market called Hydroxycut – an expensive, over-rhapsodized product that “guarantees” weight loss, but only if you follow a diet plan that, without the pills would result in weight loss any way. Go to the website and see all the svelt figured women and muscled men. I guarantee you none of those models have ever touched this stuff!
Researching the primary ingredient in this product, Garcinia cambogia, I find many websites that state baldly that this herb is unlikely to lead to weight loss by itself but may have potential when combined with other herbs and diet.
So, buyer beware! Hydroxycut is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Tampa real estate is an iffy proposition these days with huge storms coming into the Gulf of Mexico, causing much destruction of property and insurance companies refusing to write policies for those residents who live in hurricane prone areas. I grew up in Florida and weathered many a ‘cane, bailing water as it came in underneath door frames, boarding up windows with plywood to keep them safe from flying objects driven by the force of the winds and keeping candles lit against the darkness when there was no power and acting like Noah’s Ark — keeping the neighborhood animals safe from the storm. Those were experiences I’ll never forget.
