Adult Pampers

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

I can tell that the day when I have to wear disposable underwear is just around the corner. I really dread it, too as most products that absorb human liquids just make me break out something terrible whether they are scented or not. It’s depressing :(

I know I will put it off as long as I can, but I suppose I should be glad that we have such products available to us even if they fill the landfills with disgusting un-biodegradable stuff. Maybe someone will develop something that won’t break me out and is biodegradable before I have to start using them.

Dog Food

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

I feed my dogs a premium dog food – Purina Pro Plan to be exact. The tainted pet food from a couple of months ago had me concerned that my dogs were being poisoned, but thankfully Purina dry food was not one of the ones recalled. Since that was the second such recall I’ve endured in the last couple of years, it’s really got me thinking about how I care for my animals.

It’s so hard to be a responsible owner. Food is only part of taking care of a dog, certainly, but it’s a part that has to be done at least once a day and the results of feeding a premium food are so visible and dramatic over feeding a “generic” type that there is no justification for cutting that corner.

Who do you trust for insurance?

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

Globe Life Insurance Company has been around for a l-o-n-g time. I remember when my neighbor in Florida worked for them back in the 60’s. I suppose that either makes them one of the more successful insurance companies around or one of the luckiest.

They’ve always advertised some of the most reasonable rates and seem to have some flexible plans. Their sales force seems to be stable — I know my neighbor retired from Globe Life in 1989 after 22 years with them as a salesman. He put his two daughters through college and his wife never had to work, so he was successful at his job as well.

FORE!

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

I recently bought my husband a new set of golf clubs. As golf equipment goes, those are probably the most important piece a golfer can own. They should “fit” him — be the right length for his height, have the correct loft for his type of swing and be durable enough to last for years. After all, they are an investment in his pleasure and success at the sport he has chosen. There are many manufacturers of golf clubs. Those manufacturers have many different lines. It’s best to go somewhere you can try out the different clubs, perhaps even have the advice of someone who knows how to “fit” them to you. Buy the very best you can afford. don’t forget to do the same with shoes, too.
