Anniversary

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

Is there an anniversary coming up soon in your life or the lives of someone you know? Know what would be the PERFECT anniversary gift? One of these gorgeous canvasses made from a photo of the celebrants!

My parents would have loved one done in the sepia toning! I think I will have the photo of my grandparents done in this and give it to my mother on the date that would have been their 75th wedding anniversary. I know she will be so thrilled!

My son and daughter-in-law will be ecstatic over the one done in brush strokes of them! It will be something the treasure for years to come. It will also be something they display with pride in their home.

I’ve told my friend about them and she’s ordering one for her anniversary. Of course hers will include the dogs as well as the husband

Now, I’m not getting anything for writing about these pictures — I just think they are something special and that they make wonderful gifts that are treasured and displayed for friends and family to see. The pricing is reasonable and their service is GREAT! They are so thorough and take such care to do your picture up right.  Give them a try — you won’t be disappointed!

Vacation time — where to go??

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

There are so many places in this world to vacation. My friend just wrote to me that she’s going to Costa Rica for two weeks while my son and his wife are going back to Jamaica. Ken and I have been to the Bahamas and Cozumel, but for our next trip, I think we should get one of those Kauai vacation rentals.

My nephew, Kevin was stationed in Hawaii while he was in the Coast Guard and has told me so much about it; Kauai in particular describing it’s beauty — he really made it sound like paradise! The great thing about going to Hawaii is, that since it’s a US state, we don’t have to have passports to go there which, with the new regulations is a requirement (or will be) to travel outside the US. Other countries are also requiring that you have a valid passport in order to enter them, although I did read where Mexico is relaxing that until 2008.

Awesome Art

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

I am so excited that I am going to receive a painting from photo enlargement . I’ve had paintings done of my Whippets in the past, but they are always not EXACTLY like the dog or I don’t like the background or there is some little something that just “grates” if you know what I mean. This company will take my photo and enlarge it and render a beautiful canvas of it that I can mount and frame and hang along with any other piece of artwork! I’ve seen several of these and they are just awesome! I’ve got a girl who turned 15 years old this year and I know we probably will not have her from ery many more years. I want something special of her to remind me of her once she’s gone. I have paintings of her father and her mother and she is our first home-bred Champion, so this painting will be treasured forever.

Payday too far off?

Posted by ê¿ê under Women

I know just about all of us have been in the situation where we desperately needed money for a car repair or some other unexpected emergency and pay day was too far off and the credit cards were maxed out and there was no money in savings, so one of those cash advance places looked very tempting. Maybe you even went there and got an advance. Then when it came time for it to be due, you were short the money to pay it back, so rolled it over to the next week, and the next and the next. By the time you got it paid off, you had paid in interest double your original loan amount! These places charge 30% interest or more! That needs to literally be your last resort!
